About Loudeac Tile Studio
Loudeac (LOO-dee-ack) Tile Studio began as a arts and crafts show
vendor in 2004. The reception of the products was good, largely thanks to
the founder, Phil McCray's, eye for selecting images from fine art and
popular culture that people connect with personally. Customer response
inspired us to pursue our present business model that combines product
design and manufacture, and both Web and direct sales to customers and
businesses.
LTS' mission is to offer products that personalize the individual's relationship
to images and bring art ownership and appreciation into the home or
business. Dye sublimation of ceramic and stone tile is still a relatively new
and a revitalizing format for images formerly affordable only in the format of
prints and posters. In addition to publishing vivid reproductions of existing
art and design on tile, we make customized products using images provided
by the customer.
Unlike many of our competitors, we produce our tiles and murals ourselves.
This means we maintain control of the quality of what we sell and can offer
you personal consultation based on direct experience. We use only the best
architectural-grade tiles, and the most advanced color systems and software.
We will give you honest informed answers to questions about the use and
care of dye-sublimated tile products.
In 2006, LTS began developing its eclectic collection of exclusively licensed
contemporary art to reproduce on tile products and tiled murals. Retailers
can find exclusive home decor and interior design product lines that will help
impart a strong identity to their business and please their customers.
We also provide reproductions on tile to artists and photographers looking
for an income stream to enhance income from sales of original art and paper
prints. References are available to interested artists. We have successfully
worked with painters, photographers, textile artists, and digital artists. We
encourage artists wanting more than Cafe Press mill products to request a
sample of our work, which we will provide at reasonable prices.
You benefit from the collective experience of our core staff and consultants,
whose expertise ranges from art history, historical archives and museums, to
design and customer service. We excel at developing lines of tiles for
general and specialty gift shops and other businesses. But we equally enjoy
satisfying individual customers, whatever their niche interests. See our
News page for updates on Loudeac Tile Studio.
